"No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; if a Clod be washed away by the Sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a Promontory were, as well as if a Manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee."

The Yoke
In this moment The sun shines on my face. I lose what I was: Fear Pain Anger Hate Ignoring the crowds and the clamor, I trade my burden for yours, And I am weightless.

this is light and airy, a great read for a dreary day on the plains.
You've captured a great moment.
Carina, this was soothing...and true.. a lovely read, and one of my favorites in 3WW so far..! you've used the words effortlessly. :)
umm, if u r interested in a story meme, please do drop by at Thursday Tales.
:)
Love the progression, and the way you arrive at weightless!
Lovely piece.
The ending was beautiful
I love the way you used "Take my yoke upon you...and you shall find rest"
Feeling weightless is gift indeed.
I like this. There really is something about taking on another's burdens that lightens our own. Funny how that works.
Beautiful one Carina...
written with much ease but with a great message!
Powerful piece. Thank you for sharing.
